September 21. International Day of Peace across the globe.
It is a day that I came to learn about as I fulfilled my purpose of bringing awareness to the importance of living in peace and ensuring that others also were able to feel at peace in their lives.
On this International Day of Peace I decided to release my memoir Rage to Peace. I chose this day because I felt that it aligned with the goals of the international effort to spread peace, to work for peace and to unite others to ensure peace for all.
My memoir tells a story of finding peace after a life filled with violence and human suffering.
I wanted to ensure that anyone that could benefit from my message and was able to find a reason to not give up had a copy. I wanted to reach more minds and hearts.
The results of the impact of the memoir will not be known for many years to come. My hopes are to have to opportunity to sit and discuss it's impact on others as time passes us by.
In the meantime, I have decided to share some of the initial feedback from a few of those people who have purchased Rage to Peace and decided to make their feedback public.

I started reading this book and different emotions began to rise. Many recall growing up in the 80’s and all the gang activities surrounding many towns. Specially HFD, many lives were taken. I cannot judge those who join a gang, everyone has a story. I am not God to judge you. But I know God can change the lives of those that take the step. I applaud this man Iran Nazario, you are walking testimony that one can change. That peace and love can brighten the darkest room, that it can bring a person out of the darkest trenches. My respect to all that you have accomplished, all the difference you have and continue to make in people’s lives.
P.S~ Smokey is proud and cheering for you.
To everyone else: This book will make a great gift that may ignite a light in someone’s life, if not your own.

As I do with most books that I find memorable, I’m providing a review of Iran’s memoir that I just finished.
I’ve read 26 books since June 1. Of them, I can probably clearly remember what maybe 3 of them are about. Reading so much makes it hard to remember much about books unless they make a real impact.
Rage to Peace is that. It is a story that I will 100% remember for the rest of my life. Irans story is UNBELIEVABLE. Truly, I don’t even have the words to express how powerful of a story it is. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to read it.
I especially encourage my generation of CT natives to read it. Justice warriors, especially. Man, this story y’all. So. Damn. Powerful.
Read it!

As the path set by the release of Rage to Peace becomes clear, I will undoubtebly become more aware of the impact of the words I was able to share on those pages.
I know that at this moment, my heart is full. I am grateful for what it has meant to the few of those who posted the reviews above.
I hope that if you are looking into finding inspiration that you take a some time to read the sample offered on Amazon. Perhaps it may align with what you are searching for or perhaps you feel as if it is for someone in your life who may need to read my journey.
I believe that Peace will mean something different to each of us. I also believe that we are connected more than we are divided. Perhaps Rage to Peace can connect us.
In Peace,
Iran
